Lions Plus Program Details
What is the goal and framework of the program?
- Goal: Provide additional support for students transitioning from high school to college and to those who benefit from accountability and executive functioning strategies
- Structure: One-on-one weekly meetings with a learning specialist
- Approach: Collaborate to develop a semester success plan through:
- Weekly reflections on metacognitive practices
- Executive functioning supports
- Body doubling and accountability checks

What does it cost?
- One semester (AY 25-26): $2,700
- Full academic year (AY 25-26): $5,000
How to Join
I am still in high school and looking for college supports. How do I prepare for the accommodation process?
- Review the documentation guidelines
- Reflect on what works for you in overcoming educational barriers
- If you had an IEP or 504 plan in high school, consider how those supports helped you
I am a current TCNJ student without accommodations. How do I get started to apply for accommodations?
- Step 1: Review the documentation guidelines and collect necessary paperwork
- Step 2: Register with the Accessibility Resource Center by filling out this form
- Step 3: An accessibility specialist will reach out to schedule an initial meeting
I am a newly accepted student without accommodations. How do I join Lions Plus Program?
- Step 1: Starting May 1st, register with the Accessibility Resource Center using this form
- Step 2: Review the documentation guidelines and submit required paperwork
- Step 3: An accessibility specialist will contact you to schedule an initial meeting
- Step 4: If you are deemed eligible and approved for accommodations, a learning specialist will reach out to you depending on availability in the program.
I am a current TCNJ student with accommodations. How do I join Lions Plus Program?
Email us and we will send you a registration form (non-binding).
Lions Plus Registration Process
Do I have to fill out anything else?
- Yes! After the Lions Plus registration form, we will send you a binding contract
- What “binding” means: You are responsible for attending weekly sessions for the entire term you signed up for.
- Remember: You must complete the Accommodations Process in order to receive the binding contract
What happens next?
- Once you sign the contract, we will contact you to:
- Schedule your initial session
- Establish your weekly meeting schedule
