NJ Lending Program
The New Jersey Commission on Higher Education provided funding and established the equipment loan program to assist colleges in their efforts to provide accommodations to students with disabilities. The loan supports the student, while giving the borrowing institution time to purchase the items for on-going use. These items represent “reasonable accommodations” under the Americans with Disabilities Act (as amended) and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
